For the town’s Chris Finnie has become one of the latest victims of the prank custom Rangers birthday cake, which reveals Celtic’s green and white colours when sliced.
An unsuspecting Chris was enjoying a meal with family to celebrate the milestone birthday when his family surprised him with a cake.
Chris said: “Every time I see green and white it makes my stomach churn a little, but I couldn’t help but see the funny side to it.
“For being green and white, it tasted amazing. All for a good laugh.”
Chris’s dad journeyed all the way to Glasgow to purchase the cake from Cupcakes by Lilian, whose identical theme cake caused a viral sensation last week.
Lilian has been inundated with orders since and speaking about Chris’s cake, she said: “Another prank cake went out this weekend and just like Iain, Chris took it all in good fun!
“I was super chuffed as Chris’s dad came up from Lockerbie to collect it and managed to get some fab pictures of the birthday boy’s reaction.”
