A MAN has died following a crash on the A75 near Kirkcudbright this morning.
It happened at 11.50 am near the Glenterry junction and involved just one car, a Renault Scenic.
The male driver, who has not yet been named, died at the scene.
Police Scotland is currently carrying out collision investigation work and the road at the scene is currently closed with diversions in place.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to make contact through 101 and in particular they would like to hear from anyone who may have had a dash camera operating at the time.
