A THREE figure sum of cash has been stolen from a house in Southerness.

Police are investigating the theft from the property, which is adjacent to the caravan park. It was unoccupied at the time of the incident, sometime between November 20 and Monday December 12.

Detective Constable Grant Drennan said: “It appears that only cash has been taken in the raid and may well have been the target of the break-in.  We are carrying out door to door enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about the break-in to get in touch with us through 101.”
