COMMONWEALTH Games hopes remain alive for Lockerbie pistol shooter Jess Liddon.

The 23-year-old is ranked first in Great Britain and hopes to qualify to represent Scotland in the 2018 Games in Australia.
And she has been given £300 from the Annandale and Eskdale Area Committee Sports Grants programme to help her bid. It will be used to cover costs, including travel, entry fees, and accommodation, to enable her to attend a number of qualifying events.
