Unicorns flock to region for world record bid

UNICORN lovers as young as six-weeks-old have flocked to the region's Knockengorroch Festival.

Knockengorroch World Ceilidh Festival opened its gates yesterday and today hundreds enjoyed glorious sunshine.

But it’s not just the good weather that’s got everyone excited . . . for an attempt, which has been registered with the Guinness Book of Records, has been set to get the highest number of people dressed as unicorns and wearing horns.

But will they set a new record?

The jury is still out and until then here’s a collection of snaps from today to enjoy!
