Medal hopes still alive for curler Anna

GREAT Britain's women curlers have lost 10-5 to Sweden in the semi-finals - but a bronze is still in sight.

The team – including Lockerbie’s Anna Sloan – will play for a Winter Olympic bronze medal following their semi-final loss to Sweden at the Pyeongchang based games.

Eve Muirhead’s team will face Japan, who lost to hosts South Korea in the other semi, at 11.05 am GMT on Saturday.

Good luck to Anna from everyone at your local newspaper!
