£3000 theft from shed

OVER £3000 worth of property has been stolen from a garden shed in the region.

Thieves took a full set of Ping golf clubs and bag, a hammer drill, nail gun, chainsaw, socket set and power caddy golf electric buggy from the address in the centre of Dundrennan.
It happened sometime between January 8 and last Saturday.
Constable Gregg Armstrong said: “We are carrying out door to door in the village and are keen t0 speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the village over the past couple of weeks.
“It is highly likely that a vehicle was involved and again we are keen to here about any strange vehicles in the village over this period.”
