Gordie to stay with Fox

A TALENTED racing driver from Lockerbie is revving for joy after signing a new contract with his motorsport team.

Gordie Mutch, 18, will continue to be in the hot seat for Fox Motorsport as he embarks on another successful campaign in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge.

The year 2019 provided Gordie with a vast amount of success on the track as he finished third overall in the championship, securing three wins to round off a memorable year for Fox. Along with the three victories, there were nine podiums and five pole positions to display a real contender for 2020 – only missing out on the title by 45 points.

This season the youngster will be looking to gain even more victories and will be partnered up with Ashely Marshall, as both are promoted to the pro category.

Gordie said: “This year we fight, in a good position to be highly competitive. Returning with Fox was an obvious choice, and I cannot wait to start another year with new teammates.”
