It begins on Monday, September 12, and will run for 16 weeks.
Companies in Dumfries and Galloway are being called on to register their young employees and apprentices, aged 16-24 for the free initiative in which they will look for solutions to the energy crisis.
The challenge aims to encourage the development of new, innovative net zero solutions in the South of Scotland for various industries, including textiles, housing and buildings, agriculture and forestry.
The young participants get to develop their skills and become green champions who will help drive climate positive actions in the community and their workplaces.
Participants, mentors and judges are all needed.
Companies can sign up at https://fuelchange.co.uk/sose-challenge/
It is a two week commitment for the challengers involved and three to four hours commitment in 2023 for those mentoring or acting in the role of judges.
