A WALLET containing over £300 in cash and bank cards was stolen from a tattoo shop in Dumfries.

It happened at the premises in Bank Street between 11 am and 4 pm last Friday.

Police are investigating and Constable Colin McMillan said: “The thief in this case struck it lucky as the wallet contained a considerable amount of money.  We are appealing to anyone who may have been in or around the Tattoo Shop in Bank Street on Friday to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious through our 101 number.”
