5ive formed a legion of female admirers after dominating the pop scene in the late nineties.
The five lads – Richard ‘Abs’ Breen, Jason ‘J’ Brown, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon – were the five members picked from over 3000 hopefuls at auditions in early 1997.
They went on to have ten top 10 hits in the UK and three number ones, and enjoyed success worldwide until on 27 September 2001 Five disbanded.
