£60k trailer theft

A LOW loader trailer worth £60,000 has been stolen from an industrial estate in the region.

Police are investigating the theft of the trailer, with the registration PX59 BOJ, from the Abercromby Industrial Estate off the A713 near Castle Douglas.
It happened sometime between midnight and 3.30 am today.
Detective Constable Mark McLachlan said: “We want to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on the A713 in the early hours of Thursday and seen a white Renault HGV tractor unit towing this trailer.”
Officers can be contacted via the 101 number.
