Ian Little’s 18-month-old Locharbriggs, Dumfries greyhound Lochar Jet enjoyed a runaway five lengths win over the sprint distance.
The 4/5 favourite led from the first bend to finish ahead of Wiggy’s Black, a two-year-old dog from the Wiggins kennels at Kirkbride.
In another impressive sprint run Malonga, a two-year-old dog, maintained an early lead to win by more than six lengths.
He crossed the line three lengths ahead of Dexter Clark’s three-year-old Kirkbride dog Magnet.
Meanwhile, there was an on air call-out to Gretna greyhound fans on Friday during the nightly live Sky 212 and Freesat 401 coverage on Racing Post Greyhound TV.
Halcrow Stadium regular Paul Noble exchanged Gretna for RPGTV’s studio at Canary Wharf, London after being invited on as a guest pundit.
He referred to fellow enthusiasts at the border track whilst giving his analysis on the featured televised races from around the country.
