One girl and her dog create model magic

A POWER couple are taking the modelling world by storm and turning heads.

For the dynamic duo are comprised of one girl and her dog.

Ex Lockerbie Academy student Linzi Mclelland, 22, has years of lingerie, bridal and even magazine cover modelling under her belt.

And her flair for posing seems to have rubbed off on someone close – her puppy Chaos the French Bulldog.

She caught the eye of one of Linzi’s many photographer contacts.

She said: “I have been a model now for about three years and have a few contacts in the modelling world.

“I know the photographer who works for clothing shop Trespass and she asked me if I would be interested in doing an outdoors shoot with Chaos as the main focus.”

She added: “The Trespass shoot was our first together and will be used for online marketing.

“Chaos was a natural and took direction very well. I can’t wait to get the pictures back.”

The dog lover, who also has another pooch called Rocky, hopes to work again in the near future with Chaos.

Beauty queen Linzi is also celebrating being crowned second runner-up in the Miss Galaxy Scotland pageant earlier this month.

The brunette was crowned Miss Galaxy Glasgow in October last year and travelled to Manchester to vie for the bigger Miss title a few weeks ago.

She wowed the judges in four rounds, including an interview, fashion wear, bikini and evening wear.

Linzi said: “I was really happy to place second runner-up, as it is a massive competition so that was a good place to finish in.

“Although I was a little disappointed I didn’t win due to the amount of effort I put in, I was happy for the winner as I know how much she wanted it also.”

Looking to the future Linzi hopes to try out for more pageants, she said: “I would love to take part in more pageants; perhaps I will try Miss Scotland again in a year or so.

“However, for the next few months I will be busy studying and completing my dissertation hoping to pass my honours degree.”
