Gargoyle stolen

 A GARGOYLE shaped garden ornament has been stolen from a property in Stranraer.

The two and a half food high concrete object, which weighs about 50 lb, was taken from a garden in Laundry Burn Close sometime between March 19 and 28, Easter Monday.

It is worth about £300.

Police are investigating and Constable Kevin Nicholson said: “Clearly this would tale some effort to steal such a size of an ornament and we ask anyone who may have any information which would help is catch those responsible for this theft to contact us at Stranraer on the 101 number.”
