Tracey Notman, pictured, who works at the Well Pharmacy in the town, has been presented with a special service certificate to honour her 30 years of work.
Since starting as a pharmacy assistant in 1986, Tracey has not only worked her way up to be the sole dispensary technician for the branch, but has seen the pharmacy and its customers change over time – including the rebranding from the Co-Operative to Well in 2014.
Colleagues say Tracey gives patients her undivided attention, whether it is by helping families prepare for their summer holidays, to treating people with coughs and colds throughout the winter.
Commenting on her long standing service, she said: “I can’t believe it has been 30 years already.
“Well is such an important part of my life and my colleagues are like a family to me.
“It’s lovely to see how the branch has become such a big part of the local community and I love seeing the same customers day in day out, they never fail to make me smile.”
Praising Tracey, branch manager Colin Wylie said: “Tracey’s commitment and enthusiasm has played an integral role in the success of our branch.
“She is such a happy, chirpy person who gives her all in everything she does — her famous catchphrase is ‘it’ll be right’.”
