The event organising team hosted an Old Time Tea Dance at the town hall, inviting the town’s seniors.
All 112 guests, who were as old as 100, were kept entertained by servers as young as four, dressed in period costumes.
Organiser Roisin Trant said: “I would probably put it down as our most successful event to date.
“It was great for us as a group to give something back to the senior members of the community with a free afternoon enjoying an afternoon tea and some classic songs from days gone by.”
She added: “During the Bon Accords and the sing-a-long it was great to see people dancing and waving our Junction 17 flags.
“We had a great response from the event and received some very lovely comments so we will most definitely be holding another in the future.”
A collection for the Poppy Appeal was held at the event and raised £176.20.
