Garage sees nine cars vandalised

VANDALISM which saw nine cars at a Dumfries garage attacked has been branded an 'act of wanton vandalism'.

Police Scotland are investigating the attack on the vehicles while parked at Dumfries Mitsubishi in Glasgow Road at about 1 am on Friday.
The cars had wing mirrors and number plates damaged in the attack.
Damage is expected to run into many hundreds of pounds, but a full cost has yet to be ascertained.
PC Chloe Ells at Dumfries said: “This is a clear act of wanton vandalism which has left these cars damaged.
“We are reviewing CCTV footage in the area and carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
“We are also appealing for witnesses to this incident and ask that anyone who might have been passing the premises at around 1 am on Friday morning call us at Dumfries on 101 if they saw or heard anything suspicious.”
