World expert dowswer and geomancer Grahame Gardner and environmental artist Jan Hogarth will lead the Quest for Belinus on Sunday February 12.
They aim to reconnect participants with the energy of the land.
The day will start at the Lochmaben Stone at Gretna, which dates back to 3000 BC and it will be an “adventure” through some atmospheric landscapes and ancient spiritual and secular sites, ending at the Samye Ling Tibetan Monastery in Eskdalemuir.
And the route will follow the Belinus line, which is a long-distance alignment that runs the length of Britain. Jan, pictured, said: “These global energy lines have associated polarised ‘dragon lines’ that weave around the main alignment like snakes around a caduceus, manifesting as masculine and feminine energy currents.
“The Belinus line is well-known in the world of dowsing but there is much mystery about what these lines were and where they come from.
“Our Quest will explore the dragon’s flow as it enters Scotland, reconnecting with the energy of the land through the art of dowsing.”
She added: “Travelling through this atmospheric landscape we will investigate and imagine how humans have tapped into this energy over thousands of years for both sacred and secular uses, to see how these energy lines have affected land use (and those living on them) over time.”
It will take seven hours and will include discussions and question sessions. Participants should be over 18.
