Chris Walker-Jones, of Waterbeck, was presented with the Cubitt Award from the club for working voluntarily for the branch for over 20 years.
Shortly after moving to the area in 1994, Chris – pictured above- was asked to be on the branch committee. Having originally been asked to be treasurer, she very quickly changed to secretary, a job she has been doing ever since and will continue to do in the future.
The branch and particularly district commissioner Merlin Dernie, would like to congratulate Chris and thank her for all her hard work and support over the years
