Anti indy ref meeting

A PUBLIC meeting on a second independence referendum will take place this Friday in Castle Douglas.

It is being arranged and hosted by Galloway and West Dumfries MSP Finlay Carson, who described it as a ‘call to arms’ for local Unionists.
He will address the audience along with Scottish MEP Ian Duncan.
Mr Carson said: “I have decided to arrange this meeting in response to an unprecedented number of calls, emails and messages from people outraged by the prospect of another divisive independence referendum by Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP.
“The sense I am getting from constituents in Galloway and West Dumfries is that opposition to the idea of breaking up Britain has never been stronger and patience with the SNP has never been thinner.
“So, come along on Friday and find out what you can do to stand up to the SNP and fight to protect the integrity of our great country.”
The event takes place in Castle Douglas Town Hall from 7 pm.
