Owner Stephen Montgomery and his team will be the stars of Channel 4’s Four in a Bed next Thursday.
The TV show, airing since 2010, involves four B&B owners, who take turns to stay with one another – and pay what they consider fair for their stay.
The winner is the establishment named best value for money. The Townhead is the last visit of the experience for B&B owners and the episode sees Stephen show off the town’s curling roots with a trip to the ice rink.
But his lips are sealed and he won’t reveal whether or not his hotel is a winner. He said: “It was great to have been asked and then picked to go on the show.
“It wasagreat experience, and we travelled to some nice places, but you will need to watch the week’s show to see what happened.” The programme airs at 5 pm on Channel 4 on May 4.
