The theft happened at the Garroch Loaning site sometime overnight on Thursday June 15 into Friday June 16, and saw the loss of tools comprising of electric drills, a plunge saw, a jigsaw, two laser levels and various hand tools, drill bits and batteries.
PC Emily Conroy of Police Scotland in Dumfries said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about this theft.
“Likewise, we would want to hear from anyone who may be offered any similar tools for sale.
“Callers can contact police at Dumfries on the 101 number.”
Tools worth over £3k taken from DGRI site
A RAID on the site of the new £212 million Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI) has seen the theft of power tools worth over £3000.
