And all week it was a case of all hands on deck this week at the Raehills Meadow showground to get it ready for the expected crowds.
It’s all in place now, but organisers are frantically watching the weather and hoping it will stay dry.
The free shuttle bus will leave Moffat High Street hourly from 10 am, except 2 pm, until 7 pm. Judging of all classes gets underway at 9 am, the dog show will be at 11.45 am and the judging of the champion of champions will be at 2 pm, followed by the grand parade and presentation of trophies. Entertainment will take place all day. The show will come to an end with the drawing of the grand raffle, auction of a chainsaw carving and tossing the sheaf. The Annandale YFC dance will be held in Moffat Town Hall from 8 pm.
