Lockerbie personalities Pogo Patterson and Stevie Robson will transform in to Ant and Dec tonight when they host Pogo and Stevie’s Skaturday Night Takeaway at the town hall.
The pals and their Junction 17 colleagues, who have organised the event, expect the evening of entertainment to be sold out before show time rolls around.
The aptly named Junction 17 formed earlier this year with the aim of bringing the town together by holding a series of events to satisfy the entertainment needs of the whole community and Skaturday Night Takeaway is their début event.
To wet the town’s appetite, the group decided to shoot a video in the style of Ant and Dec’s popular show as a promotional advert.
The video features a host of shops and pubs who are backing the new group.
Local talents Alyth Ross and Mark It Zero will also grace the stage alongside Pogo and Stevie. Edinburgh based African rhythm band Makossa and headline act ska band Bombskare are added highlights.
But it’s not just music on the cards as a ‘Challenge Pogo and Stevie’ segment is also in place, as well asachance to ‘Win the ads’ just like in the popular Saturday night show.
