Officers with Police Scotland were alerted to the unusual activity at Collin bypass at around 3.45 am.
In statement, police said: “The male is described as being white, 5’7″ – 5’9”, medium build, in his 40s with medium length dark hair.
“The male did not have any tattoos, was walking unaided and was not wearing glasses.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have information or who seen the male to contact police on 101 and quote incident 0411 of 23/07/2020.”
