Man charged after Dumfries housebreaking

A MAN has been charged following a housebreaking in Dumfries.

After a number of enquiries Police Scotland confirmed that a 38-year-old man was arrested, interviewed and charged with housebreaking with intent to steal.

The incident occurred at a property in Callum Drive, Summerpark, on Thursday evening around 10.15 pm.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.

Officers are still asking if any residents with CCTV and/or dash cam footage between 9.30 pm and 10.45 pm to contact them.
