Anyone will symptoms will be able to make an appointment at a testing centre throughout the festive period, including at the new site of Dumfries Dental Centre in Bankend Road.
Test teams will be operating every day from 9.30 am but the only centres open between December 24-27 will be Dumfries and Ashwood House in Stranraer.
