Your Stars for 2021

ON the evening of the Winter Solstice, there is the Grand Conjunction. You will likely have heard about it. The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night before the days begin to lengthen. This married with the Grand Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is pretty impactful. The likes of Dante, Shakespeare and Johannes Kepler have written of this astrological occurrence as of great import, especially as this one is the closest Grand Conjunction for over 500 years and it spells the start of a 200 year cycle in the new element of air. It is a time for those open to change to feel the fresh breeze. Of course, you can always resist, but if you seize the offer to flow, change and accept the new, it will manifest a year to remember. Your stars for 2021 indicates your way forward for making the most of your potential.

Aries March 21 – April 20

Ideas are not your forte, but drive is. The first six months of 2021 sees your creative juices flowing and you find your usual drive is a little sluggish; but you will need to galvanize yourself. Do get your motor running as it will be worth it once June is over with, as the second half of the year sees completely new roads. Some will be very different to what you are used to. If you are honest with yourself you know a fresh breeze is just what you need. Building a steady and happy home life should be a priority, although do not be surprised if relocation comes late in the year.

Taurus April 21 – 20 May

You are great with ideas and words but actions are called for. Previous resolutions revolving around health and fitness become fixed in your mind once more. There is resolve in your heart. Animals that bark and sound at the moon only serve to keep you aware, not to accomplish anything positive. Around August you are awarded or rewarded for your work. Towards the end of the year there will be family news, the arrival of children are a likely source of this. In your own mind, in that place you tell no one about, you deeply need a new challenge to feed off.

Gemini May 21 – June 21

History and philosophy take on a new meaning in this coming year. Mysteries are especially potent and important to you. Everyone needs time to create their own world and to develop. This year is your turn to create. This accompanies for some a real need to teach and guide others. It may be on a professional footing by becoming a teacher or unofficially in a club or society. It is a year where savings can be made so you can spend where you need to. The new philosophical you will be doing plenty of reading. This travel in the mind will lead to travel so your spirit can explore.

Cancer June 22 – July 23

This is a big year for you – if you permit it to unfold to your betterment. 2020 has seen you ready to reject many of those you see as lording it over you. You are not likely to be part of another person’s revolution, but you take central role in your own. The last year has affected everyone, for you it condensed your feelings and emotions and now you are ready for the tap to flow. It will flow and you do not need anyone to tell you when to turn it off. Especially around the Full Moon, the Zen phrase, moderation in all things and that include moderation comes to mind.

Leo July 24 – August 23

Some now see their future in the healing arts, foremost in the zodiac for this is the Leo. You will either be very happy as you are, or you will be eager to change. The important factor if you are making a career change is to see things professionally and not to take things personally. The number eight will have special meaning and will repeat through the year. There is a deep seated need you have ignored, and that involves style. Yes you have style, but you feel the big desire to change it and turn it on its head.

Virgo August 24 – September 23

Virgos can be stuffy and appear just the way others expect and sometimes you can forget to be the one and only authentic you. Ring the changes. April sees the handbrake come off. This is the year of the unfettered Virgo, the show-off Virgo and the colourful Virgo. Astrologically your communication skills show you in the best light. Virgos often carry a heavy load, this becomes much lighter as you realise straight ahead is actually a direction. Health and fitness becomes more important. Technology is now your friend, yes, really. But the core reality of the year is externalise, not internalise.

Libra September 24 – October 23

Security and safety are your prime concerns. You will be apt to build fences but do not keep out those who care for you. While other signs have the jets ready to zoom, your message of the year is to idle. Keep things ticking over. Under stress you feel the need to fight against every opposition as you feel it is right and you have a strong sense of right, and whilst that is laudable fallow time is important too. It is not a giving up or giving in, it is refocusing and recharging. Fruitfulness comes stillness.

Scorpio October 24 – November 21

A little birdie whispers in your ear. It sounds a language you do not understand. So you learn not just how to translate it but how to speak and converse in it. This coming year will involve travel and hearing different words and seeing different sights. Such change is always profound, but this is not jarring to you. You have known over the last 12 months that the world is moving you to a new place on life’s chessboard. There will be challenges but you accept them as you, out of any sign, see the benefits of the end goal.

Sagittarius November 23 – December 22

There is a star on the horizon, and you are walking towards it but never seem to get any closer. Rather, that was last year. You realise you can step off the roundabout and reach the star. It is a big year for birthdays and anniversaries for many. The star is the realisation that the battle of self and family versus what you have been made to feel is expected of you and needs you to choose a side. The map to the star is a map of the heart. As the year progresses the more you realise where happiness really lies. It is quite a profound year

Capricorn December 23 – January 20

Learning bubbles to the top of your needs and desires early in 2021. Capricorns are all or nothing types so the next 12 months may see you deep in books or places of learning and the world can just wait. Often Capricorns are healers, artists or public servants. It may just be you are not in one of these fields and decide to change direction. You will be greatly enhanced by the love or support of another. This coming year is not going to be a hard one, but if you cultivate that support it will be much more profitable.

Aquarius January 21 – February 19

The world is your oyster, quite literally. The four aspects of life I get asked about most often are love, finances, career and health. You are concerned about all four, or rather you are paying more attention to them. Aquarius has been sending waves through the universe yearning for people to make changes. This means you are often the calm, the reason others try harder, but now you aspire to a bit of spice in your life. This will see travel late in the year, new bricks and mortar around you and perhaps the welcome appearance of far flung family.

Pisces February 20 – March 20

If you are not careful 2021 could leave you disillusioned. You have set ideas and thought patterns, but life is not like that, it is fluid and those aspects you dislike begin to redeem themselves. If there is a lesson, it is go with the flow but mostly do not grab hold of the handrail of time and resist. Time and tide is never static and neither are you. 2021 smiles upon you and has travel and romance at its heart. Pisceans are seldom show offs but a personal penny drops and you really appreciate just how talented you really are.
