Can you help with a miracle?

A NEW research project has kicked off at the Devil’s Porridge Museum in Eastriggs - and they need your help.

Funded by Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Coastal Communities Benefit Fund, ‘The Miracle Workers’ aims to find out as much as possible about the 30,000 people who worked at HM Factory Gretna in World War One.

And they are looking for people to get involved as volunteers or from schools.

Museum manager Judith Hewitt said: “If you’re at all interested in this subject, if you have family connection with the factory or you’re just looking for something different to get involved with this year to develop new skills for your own wellbeing or for your CV or UCAS application, we’d love to see you at our launch event for this project on March 10.

“No prior experience or knowledge is needed: just enthusiasm and access to Zoom!”

To join the launch of project, go to www.eventbrite.co.uk and search ‘devil’s porridge museum’ or email: [email protected].
