Woman killed in A710 crash

A WOMAN has died following a collision between a van and a bike yesterday.

The fatal crash happened on the A710 near Southwick at about 1.05 pm on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services attended but a 44-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

She has not yet been named.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Her next of kin has been informed. Road closures remain in place while officers carry out enquiries.”
