The 16-year-old striker is no stranger at the ‘Killie’ ground, Rugby Park, as he has been part of their youth scheme since the age of ten.
Former Annan Academy pupil Robbie was thrilled after the two-year deal was confirmed by the club last week.
He said: “I’m taking my career one step at a time but this is the biggest thing to happen to me as a player so far.
“As part of the squad I’ll have the chance of being selected for the first team and I’m hoping to be able to make my mark there.”
In the past Robbie was offered a contract with Glasgow Rangers but opted to remain with Kilmarnock where he believed the opportunities to display his skills would be greater.
He said: “My contract will mean more training sessions and that extra fitness should show through in my game.”
Robbie praised his family for their support over the last six years, particularly in giving him lifts to and from Kilmarnock each week.
“They’ve all been brilliant,” he said, making special mention of his father Gary Hogg, papa Robert Hogg and step dad Steven Stewart.
The young footballer also has fond memories of his four years, from age six to ten, with Annan Athletic’s junior sides and he is still a regular Galabank spectator.
His biggest fan, mother Vickie Stewart, said: “I’m really excited . . . almost as much as Robbie.”
