Police in Edinburgh have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to trace in connection with the public indecency investigation.
The incident happened between 8.10 pm and 9 pm on board a Stagecoach bus travelling from Dumfries to Edinburgh on Wednesday May 20.
Detective Constable Bruce Raimondo said: “This was a very distressing incident for the young woman and we are continuing with our enquiries.
“Anyone who can help us trace the male pictured within the CCTV footage is asked to contact police immediately.”
The man pictured in the footage from Edinburgh Bus Station is of interest to the ongoing police enquiry and anyone who can assist in establishing his identity is asked to come forward.
He is described as white, between 25 and 35 year old, with a skinny build, scruffy short ginger hair and a ginger beard.
He was wearing black combat trousers, a black t-shirt, black muddy army-style boots and a yellow beanie hat.
Subsequently, he changed into skinny acid-wash jeans. He was carrying two rucksacks, one of which had a camouflage design.
