Simon Clingan, Nathan Maxwell and Iain Wright announced the shock news last Friday.
They cited that they were frustrated with the lack of direction from the Palmerston Park board of directors.
A statement from the trio read: “We would like to inform you that we have informed the board of directors of our decision to leave our position as our club’s supporter liaison officers committee.
“Like many, we are very much at odds at the way that things are currently going and the lack of direction from the board of directors.
“We’d like to thank the board of directors for the opportunity to try to help us move forward, unfortunately we haven’t managed what we’d hoped.
“We’d also like to thank you, the supporters, for your support and encouragement over the years we have been in the role.”
Queen of the South supporters thanked the trio for their efforts.
Andrew Begg said: “Thanks for all you’ve done for the supporters. Hope this is maybe a wake up call for the club that there’s a lot of unhappy fans.”
Mark Armstrong added: “Thanks lads for all the time and effort you wholeheartedly put into the role.
“It was a thankless task but you did yourselves and the club proud.
A sad day but you can walk away with your heads held high.”
