Shortridge Laundry Limited at Lochside has joined forces with the Talento Group, based at the Crichton in Dumfries.
And both sides say the venture will generate career opportunities locally.

Susan Peat, general manager of Shortridge Laundry, added: “Recruitment over the past few years has been a real challenge for us, we struggled to find the right talent for our business. We started working with Talento Group who quickly found us great candidates and we managed to secure the right people for our business.
“This year we are pleased to be working in partnership with Talento Group to deliver up to 20 new permanent roles on behalf of Shortridge Laundry.”
Talento Group, was founded in 2018, and specialises in matching great talent to organisation across the UK, while Shortridge Ltd dates from 1845.
