SENIOR coastal operations officer Stewart Bryden has unveiled their new search and rescue coastguard vehicle.
The bespoke van will be used to enhance call out operations and will also be utilised for DEFRA C Flood Rescue Response, and has been fitted with new equipment including defibrillators.
And as the weather begins to warm up Stewart is keen to stress the safety messages about cold water temperatures even on a warm day and the risks of drinking alcohol and going in water.
