Citizen Advice Service takes on Tough Mudder

STAFF and volunteers from a local support service will be getting muddy in July.

Members of the Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service (CAS) are taking part in the 10 kilometre Tough Mudder Scotland to raise funds for charity.

The CAS team will be competing under the name “The Scrambled Legs”.

CAS volunteer Ella Cavani said: “We wanted to raise awareness of the service within the community and also raise some funds to support D&G CAS continue to help those who need it most.

“Volunteering with the service is very rewarding, and I was keen to do as much as I could to help.

“It will certainly be a challenge, but one for a worthwhile cause.”
