THE Old Well Theatre in Moffat will be playing host to James Rowland’s new show ‘Learning to Fly’ next week.
The show is a captivating mix of theatre, comedy and music as James tells the story of a remarkable friendship he made when he was a lonely, unhappy teenager with the scary old lady who lived in the spooky house on his street.
Theatre committee member Norma Fears said: “Last time James brought a show to us we were treated to a re-enactment of a Viking funeral at sea, so goodness knows what we will get this time! “He is a big hearted and hilarious storyteller and I am looking forward to a good evening’s entertainment.”
James will perform his new show on Wednesday, June 22, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 or £6 for under 26s and are available the Dumfries and Galloway Arts festival website.
