A RESCHEDULED Spitfire flypast over Moffat tomorrow (Saturday) has been cancelled.
It was originally due to happen as part of last weekend’s Dowding commemoration. However, the weather intervened and it was called off and re-set for this weekend instead.
But a Moffat spokesperson this morning said: “Tomorrow’s Spitfire flypast has just been cancelled owing to the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
“All Battle of Britain Memorial Flight activities, amongst thousands of other military events, are cancelled until further notice.”
