CHRISTMAS CAROLS. . . Students from Springfield Primary School singing to visitors at Gretna Green

SPRINGFIELD Primary School received an early Christmas present this year after the Gretna Green Group sent their support and more.

The award-winning wedding, hospitality, retail, and experience destination spread some festive cheer by donating three packed hampers for the school’s festive prize draw.

The hampers were hand-made and had a festive theme.

In addition, 20 pupils went along to the famous Blacksmith’s Shop, to sing Christmas carols to visitors and tourists.

Isabel Rhodes, chief executive at Gretna Green, said: “We’re proud of our partnership with Springfield Primary School and how we’re working with them to spread some festive cheer.

“From supplying hampers for the school’s prize draw to welcoming the schoolchildren to Gretna Green to sing carols, it’s a testament to what our two organisations can do when they come together for the local community.”
