Lottery joy for Iain

ANNAN man Iain Begg was lost for words this week after scooping £30,000 with the People’s Postcode Lottery.

He was surprised by TV presenter, and Lottery ambassador, Jeff Brazier in town on Tuesday.

And he is planning to take a dream holiday to Thailand with his winnings.

Travel agent Iain, 36, said: “I’ve not been on holiday for a while, and I’ve always wanted to go to Thailand, so I think that’s what I’ll spend the money on first.”

And he will put the rest of the cash towards buying his flat.

Still shocked at the good news, he added: “I’ve won a few tenners and thought I’d been quite lucky, but I never ever expected to receive a call from the Postcode Lottery.”
