Vintage tractor run

TROPHIES were up for grabs for the best entries in the Moffat Vintage Tractor Run last Sunday.

And there was a good turnout with 49 drivers setting off from the Green Frog on a route which took in Annanwater and the Greskin, via Auchen Castle.

The event was sponsored by Galloway Industrial and it raised £400 for Macmillan Cancer.

Taking the cup for best restored winner was Ramsay Dalglish; the best Nuffield or Layland In Hope memorial trophy winner was Jim Dale; Jim Mann won most original; and the oldest driver was Robert Neil from Moffat.
