And this weekend Police Scotland have issued an appeal for help from the public to help solve these recent crimes
They say sometime around 11 am on Wednesday July 1 an i-Phone 6 was stolen from the Curvaceous shop in High Street, Lockerbie. Police want to speak to a man who was seen in the shop.
He is described as being about 5 feet 2 inches tall, dark skinned, thick black short hair and black beard and was wearing sunglasses. The man was believed to be wearing a light coloured suit jacket and dark trousers. The phone is valued at around £500.
Two stainless steel commercial quality tables and a modified milk churn have been stolen from the Dumfriesshire District Scout Camp site at St Annes, Lockerbie, sometime between June 18 and June 23. The tables are about 8 inches long by 3.5′ wide and are valued at £500 each.
A Yamaha electric outboard engine, valued at £100, has been stolen in a break-in at the boathouse at Glenkiln reservoir sometime between June 27 and 30.
Meanwhile, a quantity of vodka and whisky with a value of over £90 has been stolen in a break-in at The Cally Filling Station in Scotts Street in Annan sometime overnight Tuesday June 30 and Wednesday July 1 July.
Officers are also wishing to trace a man who was disturbed attempting to steal from a silver- coloured Honda Civic car which was parked in Kirkton Terrace in Heathhall, Dumfries at around 5 am on Thursday July 2. Nothing as taken from the car and the man fled when disturbed.
He is described as being about 40/50 years of age, 6 feet tall, stocky build, short balding hair and was wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
The Everholm Pavilion in Annan was broken into sometime overnight Wednesday July 1 Thursday July 2. A quantity of cleaning materials was deliberately spilled around the building in the break-in.
Several miles away, officers want to trace a man who was disturbed at a shed at a cottage at Upper Mains at around 12.40 pm on Thursday July 2. The man cycled off towards Annan when challenged.
He is described as being about 5 feet 2 inches tall, skinny build, dark untidy hair, in his late 20s, and was wearing a grey t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms, which were a darker grey.
Finally, a break-in has occurred at a house in Back Road, Locharbriggs, sometime between 7.30 pm on Tuesday June 30 June and 5 pm on Thursday July 2.
A green coloured Kawasaki KX 80 off road motor cycle, a Stihl make chainsaw, hedge cutter and leaf blower were stolen in the raid.
Police are asking that anyone with information about the crimes contact them on 101.
