O’Hanlon is new man at Mids helm

MID Annandale has announced Garry O’Hanlon as their new manager.

O’Hanlon joins the Lockerbie outfit from Finnart where he was the assistant manager of the West of Scotland Club.

Mids officials say that O’Hanlon brings with him vast experience in coaching having served several clubs at various levels and he also played for East Kilbride amongst others, as well as representing Scotland at amateur level.

The playing staff met O’Hanlon for the first time last night when he took training and his first match in charge will be this Saturday away to Lochar Thistle.

A spokesman for Mid Annandale – who sit eighth in the South of the Scotland league standings – said: “The Mids would like to welcome Garry to the club and look forward to working with him in what we can describe as a great opportunity for both parties.

“Further appointments regarding backroom staff will be announced shortly.”

O’Hanlon replaces former manager Craig Allen after he parted company with Mids in September.
