COUNCILLORS and officials posed for photos this week to mark the start of the long-awaited redevelopment of Stranraer’s George Hotel.
The former hotel, which dates back to 1876, holds significant historical and cultural value to the local area and the redevelopment project aims to transform it into a vibrant community-led space that will benefit both residents and visitors alike.
