Yarn group thrilled at response
SPOT THE TREES . . . a group of children on their way to an after school club with yarn trees that they found

GRETNA crafts group Chatty Crafters are excited to announce that their new yarn bombing project has been a resounding success.

The project was conceived to help brighten up both the local area and the homes of Gretna residents, as anyone who spots one of their yarn trees are welcome to take them home as a treat.

Last Tuesday saw the first knitted Christmas trees make an appearance in parts of Gretna, and they have been welcomed by local residents.

It was also reported that children going along Central Avenue were delighted when they found the trees, while others going along the street a little later were disappointed that there were none left.

Thankfully, more will be appearing soon for people to take home with them.
