LANGHOLM Academy has been closed temporarily due to the cold weather.
Announced by Dumfries and Galloway Council earlier today, both Langholm Academy and Primary School have been affected by a burst pipe, and will be closed for the day.
It is expected that both schools will re-open as usual at 8 am on Monday.
Meanwhile, other schools in the region have also been closed during the week due to heating failures in relation to the cold spell.
