£41k drugs haul on M74

A MAN and a woman from Bradford will appear in court at Dumfries tomorrow after police found £41,000 worth of hard drugs in a car on the M74.

The discovery of heroin and crack cocaine was made by officers near junction 16, Johnstonebridge, in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The occupants of the vehicle were a 52-year-old man and 45-year-old woman.
