Hunt for heroic lifesaving pair

TWO young men who saved a stranger’s life on a street in Dumfries this week are being sought by his grateful family.

The man had collapsed between Dickies Bar and William Hill bookies on Wednesday morning and was unresponsive.

But the unknown pair rushed to his aid and administered CPR until the ambulance arrived – and paramedics say without their speedy assistance he would have died.

The family are now trying to track down the Good Samaritans and have issued an appeal on Facebook to find them so they can personally thank them.
