CELEBRATE Bankfoot House’s 60th anniversary on Friday with a night of music and entertainment.
The Moffat care home is hosting its Big Anniversary Benefit Bash at Upper Annandale Parish Church from 7.30 pm to celebrate the important milestone, as well as fundraise for refurbishment of the care home’s bathrooms.
The evening of entertainment will be hosted by Mick Barker and includes John Caskie and the McRobert Brothers, comedian Viv Gee, singer and guitarist Finlay Balfour and folk band Bogle Mufty. Bankfoot residents will be guests of honour at the event itself, which will include a buffet and bar.
David Booth, chair of Bankfoot’s board of directors, is looking forward to welcoming the community to Friday’s event and said: “Our anniversary benefit bash is a real opportunity for Bankfoot to celebrate with the community- it will be a great evening and we hope to see you there.”
Tickets are available at Bankfoot House, as well as 17 Reasons, Shonagh’s New Images and at the door.
